Standing on the ground looking up at your gutters will not allow you to view what's really going on with them. If you did not clean them out when the leaves were falling , chances are high that they are packed with decomposing organic material, even if you can't see it. When snow and ice on your roof melts in the winter sun, clogged gutters and downspouts are just as much a problem as they are in warm seasons.
